Welding pincers
For horizontal movement
The welding pincers of the PZ series are activated using a pneumatic cylinder and the force is repeatably adjusted using a proportional valve. The connection characteristic is guaranteed through an integrated spring system or seal-less cylinders. Control is possible through pre-stressed ball bushings or guide rails. A large spectrum of forces is possible with one pincer due to the various cylinders.
The sealing movement depends on the accessibility of the welding joint and the force, which the component can absorb. With the floating design, the pincer supports itself with a force on the component. If this is not possible, the pincer can be designed to be centrically closing. However, this requires an accurate positioning of the component. In addition, the contact electrode can be positioned at a fixed position using a lateral actuating cylinder.
