Resistance brazing

Ideal for connecting parts of unequal dimensions

With resistance brazing, a brazing solder (possibly including the soldering flux) is used to ensure that the electrical resistance is the greatest at the solder point. This makes it possible to weld smaller components to metal sheets, which have a high degree of thermal conductivity.

Firmly bonded joints are created without any noteworthy structural transformation. The resistance brazing is targeted so that neighbouring areas to the solder point are only subjected to very slight thermal influence and any damage to materials is ruled out as far as possible.
