Hot staking

With hot staking, the enamelled wire is soldered and a diffusion is created between the joining parts in a single work step. The aim is to create a mechanical and electrically conductive connection. There are a variety of options for soldering the enamel, which can be used depending on the accessibility of the welding joint. The heat is created through a parallel connection, e.g. a weld yoke, sleeve or hook lug, for thinner wires also using thermocompression.
