Motor-driven welding heads

Ideal for sensitive components

The welding heads of the LSK series are equipped with electro-magnetic linear actuators. The connection characteristic is comparable with that of an ideal, mechanical spring. The frictional self-retention known from spindle drives is avoided.

The control algorithms coordinated with the welding process ensure extremely rapid and soft positioning. In the LSK welding heads, standard path measuring systems are integrated with a resolution of 1 µm. The force is monitored by the motor current.
